Support Our Work
Whether it's an online donation, partnership, volunteer work, or participating at a fundraising event, every bit helps our program.
Our program depends solely on fundraising, donations, tuition fees, and grants to make the opportunity available to as many children as possible in the South Boston area. In addition to financial contributions, there are many ways to support the Paraclete.
Volunteer Your Time
Utilize your academic knowledge by mentoring or tutoring our students with their homework and classwork. Help us repair and maintain our 90+ year old historic building. Share your individual passion with our students during an enrichment class.
Throughout the years, we have been very fortunate to have volunteers cook dinner, work in our garden, update our database, do landscaping, tidy up community space, and much more.
We welcome any school supplies, household goods for our teacher residents, technology or computer equipment, and books.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Many companies match employees’ contributions to charity. Please check with your human resources department to find out if your company has such a program. If your company does match employee contributions, please mail the appropriate matching gift form with your contribution.
Gift of Appreciated Securities
To make a gift of Appreciated Securities please call 617-268-5552 for transfer instructions. Gifts of appreciated securities can increase your giving power. The IRS allows donors to deduct the full, fair market value of appreciated assets given to the Paraclete, with no recognition of capital gains. That means that donors can leverage a large donation and charitable deduction using an asset with a small cost basis.
