Paraclete Teachers
The Paraclete Teachers come with a dedication that provides a special character to the Paraclete Academy. They work long hours, are housed in our building, an old convent so that they a part of the South Boston community. They have a wide range of expertise and interests but all have in common a deep commitment to the education of youth. Most have had no teacher training experience, but expert educators provide weekly hands-on coaching for them. They have the opportunity to interact with the Paraclete Foundation's Rwandan programs as well as other sponsored events. There are a wide group of volunteers, young professionals to recent retirees, that add their expert assistance.

Benefits for our Paraclete Teacher Corps are:
  • Americorps Education Grant of $4,700
  • Our teachers receive a monthly stipend, room and board and medical insurance.
