Students begin in the Homework Help room, where they receive individual tutoring as needed on their homework assignments. Students are pulled out for classes throughout the day. We also schedule in regular breaks for students to engage in free play or structured games.
Small Class Sizes
Our classes are built on a small class size model. Each class session is focused and targeted to meet a student’s individual needs and interests.

Math and Reading Classes
Students are required to take math and reading classes twice a week to supplement their learning in school. Students also complete daily independent reading assignments.
Teachers offer creative, hands-on activities that organically engage students and inspire them to become lifelong learners.
Paraclete teachers develop enrichment classes based on their personal academic passions, which has clear benefits for all involved: the teachers take joy in sharing their interests, and our students develop a broader intellectual curiosity that spans far beyond the traditional academic subjects.
Our professional chef leads cooking classes three days a week. Students expand their knowledge of the culinary arts and prepare all food for the evening dinner program. The cooking program is centered around two major themes: cooking nutritious meals and cooking dishes from various cultures. Starting in fall 2014, parents and children will experience a culinary and nutritional experience on Sunday afternoons. This year students are also able to utilize the fresh lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, strawberries, and herbs that we have grown in our vertical garden- providing not only healthy ingredients, but (very) local produce as well.
Expressive Arts Sessions
Our Expressive Arts Program is run by Lesley University graduate interns. We offer individual and group sessions in music, movement, and studio art. Each session fuses artistic endeavors with exercises in social and emotional well-being.
