Our Goal, Vision & Commitment

Hear what Others Have to Say

We foster the intellectual, moral, social, and creative growth of our students.

At Paraclete, we strive to reinforce the material that students learn in school and to enrich them through a variety of enrichment courses. Our AmeriCorps teachers practice project and game-based learned that actively engages students and emphasizes hands on activities. Classes are kept small to provide students with adequate individual attention.

We offer Math & English Language Art Classes for 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th Grade.

Classes are based on the Massachusetts Common Core with the intention of mastering the objectives that are taught at school. We require thirty minutes of reading and encourage a lifelong love of learning. Our individualized teaching help accommodate all learning styles to effectively enhance student understanding.

Additionally, we offer enrichment courses that capture the passions of our teachers, volunteers, and partners.

Teachers develop enrichment classes based on their personal academic passions, which allows for a broader intellectual curiosity that moves beyond traditional academic subjects. In past years, teachers have taught Robotics & Computer Science, Human Anatomy, Spanish, Arts & Dance, Storytelling, Philosophy & Ethics, Psychology, Lego Engineering, and many others! We currently offer the following for the 2019 - 2020 year:

  • Neuroscience with Mr. Harris

  • Arts & Crafts with Ms. Blair

  • Visits from the New England Aquarium

  • Multicultural/Diversity Club with Ms. Kim

  • Cooking with Ms. Jill

  • Drawing and Painting with Ms. Susan

We know the ISEE test is designed to challenge students. We're here to help them prepare.

The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is a standardized test that many independent private schools use for student enrollment. Many independent private schools use ISEE scores to assess a student's readiness for their level of curriculum. In the fall and winter semester, Paraclete hosts weekly ISEE Courses on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Test taking strategies, techniques, and practice in class ensures student development with the appropriate skills needed for success. Familiarizing our students with the type of questions that they will see on the exam can help build self-confidence and more accuracy.

Tuition is paid annually and additional information can be found on the Enrollment Page
